Trump sets a November 5 hearing on whether to remove Fed Governor Lisa Cook

President Trump named a three-member committee to recommend whether there is cause to remove Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook. In June the Supreme Court let her stay in office while her challenge continues, saying she had been denied the procedural protections the law entitles her to, SCOTUSblog reports. Her lawyer called the allegations "unfounded and untrue" in August, according to the same report.
